A 2-year-old pitbull was diagnosed with a large lump on her head, and sadly, she was scheduled to be put down.
Fortunately, Strawberry was saved by the La Belle Foundation’s rescue team.
According to a post shared by the La Belle Foundation on Instagram, they came across a shelter photo of a dog with bright pink infected skin and two lumps on her head on the page of @iloverescue. The foundation decided to step in and help the poor pup.
The foundation posted pictures of the canine, revealing a large lump visibly present on her head. Despite the dog’s condition appearing severe, the foundation reassured their followers, stating that they had conducted several medical tests including MRI’s, biopsies, and numerous veterinary examinations, discovering that the said lumps were merely tissue resulting from an old injury and that it posed no danger to the dog’s life.
Although removing the tissue could jeopardize her life, Strawberry’s current state is cherished by her caretakers, and they are certain that they will find a family who shares their sentiment.
Shaunee and Marcus welcomed Strawberry into their foster home as she waited for her forever family. Although she had some health issues, the rescue organization noted that she had an abundance of love to give. Despite her difficult past, Strawberry showed incredible affection towards her new caretakers.
Fortunately, it didn’t take much time for a kind-hearted person to come forward and provide Strawberry with the caring and permanent residence she has been longing for. The organization took to Instagram to post an update and also mentioned in the comments section that Strawberry had found her forever home.
I hope that the new family has given her a happy and comfortable life after being adopted.
